Vista Mall Taguig—To formally launch the partnership between Vista Mall and the Department of Agriculture, representatives from both parties gathered at the Event Center of Vista Mall Taguig to unveil the start of the first leg of the Farm To Table AgriMarket Mall Caravan.
The intimate ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Vista Mall Head of Operations, Ms. Florence R. Bernardo; Mr. Bryan San Andres, Vista Mall Marketing Head; and Dr. Ramon C. Yedra, OIC-Director of Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service of DA. The partnership’s goal is to continue providing livelihood and additional revenue to local farmers and craftsmen.
The Farm To Table AgriMarket showcases locally-sourced fresh & frozen produce and handmade Filipino crafted goods from vendors all over the Philippines. The AgriMarket allows these businesses to reach out to a wider audience and introduce their quality products to more potential buyers. This opportunity does not only benefit the local vendors but also the customers by giving them access to locally and ethically sourced goods that are guaranteed to be of topnotch quality.
The initial Farm To Table AgriMarket Mall caravan schedule includes 6 Vista Malls and Starmalls across Metro Manila. Customers can expect a varying mix of tenants and vendors per location but are assured that the freshness and quality of the goods will remain the same throughout the whole run of the campaign.
While the Metro Manila leg of Farm To Table AgriMarket is on-going, Vista Mall and DA will also be announcing the dates for the Cavite and Laguna Leg of the mall caravan soon. This joint project is a long-term partnership that will not only boost the livelihood of the participating vendors but also provide more options to customers of Vista Mall and Starmall when it comes to quality produce and handicrafts.
With everybody trying to recover from the effects of the pandemic, it is important for businesses of all sizes to work together in coming up with creative solutions to the unique problems the country is currently facing. “In today’s world that is full of uncertainty, it is only by helping each other that we can truly rise above these dire circumstances.” says Vista Land & Lifescapes Chairman, Manny B. Villar. By providing local agricultural workers with bigger venues to promote their products, Vista Mall is helping them gain a better customer base that can be converted to actual sales and money in their pockets.
Vista Mall and Starmall’s Farm To Table AgriMarket mall caravan in Metro Manila is scheduled on these dates at the following locations:
Vista Mall Taguig (February 19-21 & 26-28)
